Child of Eden -- Synesthesia Trailer [ANZ]
Sega seems she was not interested in such a project, and Ubisoft has picked up the baton, giving the opportunity for Q Entertainment embarking on a project which, although not called Rez for obvious reasons, has the same base and the same idea. Even the story is similar, with the player fighting a dangerous virus that has invaded many digital worlds, "purifying" the pieces of data that act as enemies. For those unfamiliar with the game in question, Shoot'em Up Rez is a rear perspective three-dimensional and a fixed path, in which the player should only be concerned to avoid enemy fire and kill as many enemies possible, a simple concept, but it feeds an entire audiovisual show, for each shot creates a sound that comes and merges with the music, which in turn is closely linked to the psychedelic graphics that accompany the player to travel to the nucleus. It was more an audiovisual experience that a complex shooter was not a game designed to be challenging, but to create a sensory impression on the player-to that contributed largely a specially designed vibrator peripheral for the game and dragging a curious story for use as a sexual toy.
